FINAL EXAMINATION



For your Final Examination:

You will make a research paper or case study in the following topics.  Choose (1) only.  Form a group of 5 for your research.  Your research paper is 50% of your final examination.

 CURRENT TRENDS AND ISSUES IN:
1. PRE-NATAL PERIOD
2. PRESCHOOLERS
3. PRIMARY SCHOOLERS
4. INTERMEDIATE SCHOOLER
5. HIGH SCHOOL LEARNER

The format of the final paper is given below.  The research should be less than 15 pages only.  The other 50% of the paper is a SKYPE defense with me.  I will give you the time schedule once you have submitted the final paper.

You will work on this in the library in the following dates : October 5, 7, 9, 12.

SCHEDULE OF ACTIVITIES/OUTPUTS/PROJECTS



Sept 3, 5 - No meeting in the classroom.  You should review for your other subjects.  Don't forget to post your permit for your grade.


Sept 7, 9, 11  Group Oral Discussion.  The following students will only come to class to discuss Module 18,19, and 20.  You will videotape your discussion and download it in the fb group.  Non-appearance in the video and discussion will be mark absent and zero.  :

Students involved: Arellano, Balite, Barba, Barron, Basmala, Baul, Bernardino, Buenaventura, Bustalino, Buyao, Cosme, Crisostomo, Cruz, Dalisay, Flores

Suggestion: Use Monday and Wednesday for Planning and Practice.  Final videotaping on Friday.

The output of the group is to discuss the physical development of primary schoolers and apply information-processing theory for primary school children. React to the situation in page 259

For students who will not attend the class, you will prepare the Output 1 - page 245 and 252. Reaction paper to page 259 and 260.

Deadline:  September 14, 2015.  Post your work in the comment section of this blog.


September: 14, 16, 18 Discussion on Module 21 and 22.  The following students will report to the classroom for the discussion and planning.

Gamboa, Gigantoca, Gila, Gorme, Guinto,Jarabe, Kato, Landicho, Lasin, Lumbre, Lunasin, Manayuba

Your task: Discuss the physical development of the intermediate pupil and cognitive development of intermediate schoolers.

For students who will not attend the class: Your output is to make a REFLECTION 2 - page 269 and 276.

Deadline of submission:  Sept 21, 2015


Sept. 21, 23, 25 - Discussion on Module 23 and 24.  The following students will come and report to class.

Your output is to complete page 286 and 300.

For students who will not attend the class: Your output is to make REFLECTION 3 - page 298 and 283

September 28, 30, Oct 2 - Discussion on Module 25 and 26.  The following students will come and report to class.
